DR Tutoring is a team of university-educated tutors based in the Inner West, built around a genuine passion for helping students unlock their potential. What started as one tutor has grown into a small, hand-selected team — every tutor personally vetted for their subject knowledge, teaching ability, and genuine commitment to student outcomes. We don't take on tutors who don't meet the bar.
Across the team, we've worked with students from primary school through to Year 12, building real experience across a wide range of year levels and subjects. We've seen genuinely rewarding results — students going from failing to passing, earning Band 6 HSC results, and walking into exams with real confidence.
DR Tutoring started from a simple observation. A few years ago, tutoring privately with students across the Inner West, it became clear that the tutoring industry had a problem — and families were paying the price for it.
Some options were charging well over $100 an hour, yet the experience could feel impersonal. Tutors changed from term to term, progress wasn't always tracked closely, and parents often weren't hearing much about how their child was actually going.
